About me
Roger Basinger is a Tax Specialist with the Kansas Department of Revenue in the Office of Policy and Research. In that capacity, Roger presents in workshops and seminars during the year in which the various taxes administered by the Department are discussed. In addition, he also participates in the implementation of new legislation, the researching and drafting of private letter rulings and opinion letters, and in updating tax forms and publications. Roger started his employment with the Department in January of 2022. Prior to his current position in Revenue, he has been a finance officer for a non-profit and has held various positions within the Office of Accounts and Reports for the Kansas Department of Administration. Roger holds a degree in Business Administration and Accounting from Kansas Wesleyan University.
